We support students of all walks fo life and from different zip codes! Many of our students live in different cities and countries, we have several different schooling options available for these students, both in group online classes and private one-on-ones.

Online Courses Available

  • Wordly Wise 3000 is a dynamic vocabulary program that helps students in grades 1 through 8 develop a deep understanding of words through engaging activities and exercises. The program is divided into lessons, each focusing on a set of words and their meanings.

    For Grades 1-5:

    • Each lesson is divided into two parts. Part 1 focuses on vocabulary, spelling, meaning, and sentence building. Students learn new words and their meanings, practice spelling, and use the words in sentences to reinforce understanding.

    • Part 2 of each lesson focuses on reading comprehension and oral writing. Students read passages that include the new vocabulary words, enhancing their comprehension skills. They also engage in oral activities to practice using the words in context, improving their speaking and writing skills.

    • Homework support includes online verbal games designed to make spelling fun and easy to memorize, as well as online tests to assess understanding and retention of the vocabulary words.

    Overall, Wordly Wise 3000 for grades 1-8, is designed to help students develop a strong vocabulary, improve their reading comprehension, and enhance their writing skills, setting them up for success in school and beyond.

  • This course is designed to cultivate and enhance fundamental reading and writing abilities for young learners, spanning from Pre-K to Grade 2. 

    Level 1— For Prek-K

    Level 2— For K-G1

    Level 3 — For G1-2

    Through a variety of engaging activities, students will establish a strong foundation in literacy, preparing them for future academic endeavors. The course encompasses the following components:

    1. Phonics and Phonemic Awareness: Students will engage in activities focused on letter sounds, blending, and segmenting words, fostering phonemic awareness.

    2. Vocabulary Development: Through stories, songs, and interactive games, students will expand their vocabulary and learn to use new words in context.

    3. Reading Comprehension: Students will practice reading simple texts and acquire strategies to comprehend and retain information from their reading.

    4. Writing Proficiency: Students will practice forming letters, spelling basic words, and constructing short sentences to enhance their writing skills.

    5. Grammar Fundamentals: Basic grammar skills, such as sentence structure, punctuation, and parts of speech will be introduced and practiced.

    6. Literary Analysis Skills: Students will begin to analyze simple texts, identifying key elements, such as characters, settings, and main ideas.

    Throughout the course, creativity and expression will be encouraged, nurturing students' imagination and self-expression through writing. The course aims to create an engaging and supportive environment where young learners can develop a passion for reading and writing while honing essential literacy skills.

    Grade: PreK-2 (Ages 4-7)

  • The Great Writing course is designed to enhance students' writing skills, focusing on clarity, coherence, and effectiveness. Through a series of engaging lessons and activities, students will learn and practice various aspects of writing, including grammar, sentence structure, paragraph development, and essay composition.

    Key features of the course include:

    1. Grammar and Mechanics: Students will learn and apply grammar rules and mechanics to improve the clarity and mastery of their writing.

    2. Sentence Structure: Students will learn how to construct sentences effectively, using a variety of sentence structures to convey their ideas.

    3. Paragraph Development: Students will learn how to develop well-organized paragraphs, including topic sentences, supporting details, and transitions.

    4. Essay Composition: Students will learn the fundamentals of essay writing, including thesis statements, essay structure, and supporting arguments.

    5. Revision and Editing: Students will learn strategies for revising and editing their writing to improve clarity, coherence, and effectiveness.

    Throughout the course, students will have the opportunity to practice their writing skills through a variety of assignments and activities. They will also receive feedback and guidance from the instructor to help them improve their writing skills.

    By the end of the course, students will have developed the skills and confidence to write effectively in a variety of contexts, setting them up for success in their academic and professional endeavors.

  • The Literacy Analysis & Writing course offers students in grades 2-9 an enriching journey through acclaimed literature. Through the exploration of award-winning books, students will enhance their critical thinking skills, analyze various types of novels, and learn valuable writing techniques from renowned authors.

    Grades: 2-9 (Ages 7-14)

  • This Creative Writing course for grades 2-4 consists of three terms, with each term comprising 10 one-hour lessons. The course aims to develop students' creative writing skills and storytelling abilities through a series of engaging and interactive lessons.

    Term 1: Sensory Writing, Scene Descriptions, Character Development, Story Framework, Vocabulary Expansion

    In the first term, students will learn how to use the five senses in their writing to create vivid and engaging descriptions. They will also learn how to write detailed scene descriptions, develop main characters, structure story frameworks, and expand their vocabulary for more advanced writing.

    Term 2: Character Development, Plot Conflicts, Rhetorical Devices

    The second term focuses on developing both protagonist and antagonist characters, setting up plot conflicts, and using rhetorical devices such as metaphors, similes, and onomatopoeia to enhance their writing.

    Term 3: Supporting Characters, Character Dialogues, Story Refinement

    In the final term, students will learn how to develop supporting characters, enhance their storytelling through character dialogues, and refine their stories using the writing techniques they have learned.

    By the end of the course, students will have developed a strong foundation in creative writing, storytelling, and language skills, setting them up for success in their future writing endeavors.

    Grade: 2-4 (Ages 7-9)

  • The Academic Writing course for grades 1-8 offers a comprehensive approach to different types of text writing. Students will learn to use TOK (Theory of Knowledge) principles, STAR Revision Strategy, Persuasion Mapping and a variety of rhetorical devices to enhance their writing skills. The course covers a range of writing genres, including but not limited to:

    • Comparative and Analogical Writing

    • Argumentative Writing

    • Descriptive Writing

    • Personal Narrative Writing

    • Fictional Narrative Writing

    • Persuasive Writing

    • Research Reports

    • Expository Writing

    • Poetry Composition

    • Short Story Composition

    The course is divided into 8 levels, with each level comprising 39 lessons. Each 4-5 lessons focus on a specific writing genre, allowing for in-depth study and gradual development of students' ability to write essays.

    In our academic writing course, practice in each genre involves careful consideration of the topic, selection of ideas, conceptualization, and continuous refinement until the standard is achieved. The specific process includes:

    • Brainstorming and Framework Development:

      • Learn and master the definition and characteristics of the genre

      • Analyze and deconstruct sample texts

      • Brainstorm and establish the writing theme based on the topic

      • Conduct research based on the theme and conceptualization

      • Create a logical sequence diagram for writing

    • First Draft:

      • Determine the theme and build the central idea

      • Create a main idea sentence

      • Begin writing the body of the article independently

      • Learn to cite sources correctly

    • Second Draft:

      • Thoroughly revise the main paragraphs

      • Analyze the theme and concept in depth

      • Add details and content

      • Write the concluding paragraph

      • Receive one-on-one guidance from the teacher

      • Peer evaluation

    • Final Draft:

      • Self-check based on the 6 characteristic rules

      • Five-stroke rewriting method

      • Grammar correction for the entire article

      • Teacher provides final opinions

      • Final draft submission

    This course is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in academic writing, enabling them to communicate effectively and persuasively in a variety of contexts.
