Week 4: Living Laboratory Adventure

From the tallest trees to the tinest amoeba, we are surrounded by life. Children are naturally curious about the world around them, and during Living Labratory Adventure, they will get to explore their curiosity. Students will learn the answers to questions such as, "what makes something alive," "how do living things grow and change," and "where did my favorite animal come from." With a combination of activities, crafts, experiments, and observation, students will get an introduction to the wonders of biology.

Week 5: Health Exploration

What actually happens when you exercise? Why do we need to sleep? Children are full of questions about their bodies and health. Health Exploration will guide students through the systems of the body that allow us to live happy and healthy lives. Hands on crafts, slimy experiments, and plenty of exercise will help your young one know what makes their bodies healthy. Students will learn all about their brains, hearts, and lungs in this exciting introduction to human health and medicine.

Week 6: Elemental Odyssey

While most people never think much about it, rocks tell a story about the history of the earth. The elements in those rocks, born in the cores of stars, are fundimental to everything, including us. During Elemental Odessey, students will learn this story though mock archeology digs, chemistry experiments, and lessons designed to spark your child's interest in the sciences. Students will learn about atoms, molecules, elements, and how scientists use their knowledge to make the world a better place.

Week 7: Survival Scientists

How do you avoid getting lost in a snowstorm? How do scientist predict the weather? What do you need to take a trip across the Australian outback? Survival Scientists will use real world situations and natural disasters to teach students about our enviroment and physical science. If you child is fanciated by volcanoes, hurricanes, tornadoes, and nature's extremes, they will love Survival Scientsits. Along the way, they will learn scientific principles that are just as likely to help them in the classroom as they would out in the wild. There has never been a better way to get your child interested in physical science.

Week 8: Little Engineers

What is an Engineer? At its most basic, an engineer is a problem solver. And your child will become a little problem solver too with Little Engineers. Students will be introduced to basic concepts of engineering such as the laws of motion, storing energy, robotics and more through hands on engineering projects designed to get their minds solving problems. From creating skyscrapers and bridges to assembling robots, this camp is an excellent introduction to key STEM concepts and a ton of fun.

Week 9: Young Inventors

The world owes so much to the brilliant people who, through clever thinking and creativity, have brought us inventions that make modern life possible. From Ancient Greece to the present day, inventors have strove to find new solutions to life's problems. Student's will learn about Archimedes, Bi Sheng, and Marie Curie among others that have brought world changing discovories. In Young Inventors, students will be introduced to some of these impressive figures, inspiring their own creativity and giving them STEM lessons that will create a solid foundation for their future STEM endevors.
