iLearn Education writing students from Irvine compete annually in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards — the longest-running recognition program for creative teens in the United States — the River of Words environmental poetry contest, the New York Times Learning Network writing contests, and the Concord Review. Recent results include a National Silver Medal, a Gold Key in Poetry, and multiple Honorable Mentions in short story.
