In addition to our signature STEAM Camp—featuring 11 weeks of hands-on science, technology, engineering, arts, and math fun—we offer a diverse lineup of specialty camps tailored to spark every child’s curiosity and potential. Join our Research, Debate & Writing Summer Camp, Creative Writing Camp, Comic Writing Camp, and Next Gen Speech & Debate Camp to build powerful communication and critical thinking skills. For younger learners, the ESL Camp offers an engaging language immersion experience. Students preparing for academic challenges can enroll in the ISEE Lower Boot Camp or dive into journalism and storytelling in the New York Times Writing Competition Camp. Whether your child is entering Grade 1 or Grade 12, there's a camp designed just for them—combining learning, creativity, and summer fun!

The afternoon science summer camp is designed to help students develop their knowledge and love of science and technology while providing them an environment to improve their reading, english, and reasoning skills. Each week includes five unique lessons focused on a particular scientific theme. Students will be encouraged to read scientific literature for children, engage in a hands on experiment or activity, and complete coursework that will improve their confidence and foster a love of sicence.

Week 2 - Little Astronauts Academy
6/15 - 6/19
Does your child know the solar system? Whether your child is an astronomy enthusist or new to our stellar backyard, Little Astronauts Academy will teach them something new! this class will introduce kids to our sun, the planets, and more using hands on activities and interactive media. Students will develop their vocabulary and sicentific knowlege as they discover the dusty surface of Mars, learn about the orgin of Saturn's rings and read about the men, women and robots who have explored our solar system.

Week 3 - Galaxy Quest Junior
6/22 - 6/26
Space is big - really big! During Galaxy Quest Junior, students will discover just how vast our universe is. Student's will witness the birth of a star, discover some of the largest and brightest objects and explosions in the universe, and engage in experiments here on earth that will help them better undrstand how the laws of the universe are truly universal. This course will foster your junior astromer's love for STEM while helping them improve their vocabulary, reading comprehension, and communication skills as well.

Week 4 - Living Laboratory Adventure
6/29 - 7/3
From the tallest trees to the tinest amoeba, we are surrounded by life. Children are naturally curious about the world around them, and during Living Labratory Adventure, they will get to explore their curiosity. Students will learn the answers to questions such as, "what makes something alive," "how do living things grow and change," and "where did my favorite animal come from." With a combination of activities, crafts, experiments, and observation, students will get an introduction to the wonders of biology.

Week 5 - Health Exploration
7/13 - 7/17
What actually happens when you exercise? Why do we need to sleep? Children are full of questions about their bodies and health. Health Exploration will guide students through the systems of the body that allow us to live happy and healthy lives. Hands on crafts, slimy experiments, and plenty of exercise will help your young one know what makes their bodies healthy. Students will learn all about their brains, hearts, and lungs in this exciting introduction to human health and medicine.

Week 6 - Elemental Odessey
7/20 - 7/24
While most people never think much about it, rocks tell a story about the history of the earth. The elements in those rocks, born in the cores of stars, are fundimental to everything, including us. During Elemental Odessey, students will learn this story though mock archeology digs, chemistry experiments, and lessons designed to spark your child's interest in the sciences. Students will learn about atoms, molecules, elements, and how scientists use their knowledge to make the world a better place.

Week 7 - Survival Scientists
7/27 - 7/31
How do you avoid getting lost in a snowstorm? How do scientist predict the weather? What do you need to take a trip across the Australian outback? Survival Scientists will use real world situations and natural disasters to teach students about our enviroment and physical science. If you child is fanciated by volcanoes, hurricanes, tornadoes, and nature's extremes, they will love Survival Scientsits. Along the way, they will learn scientific principles that are just as likely to help them in the classroom as they would out in the wild. There has never been a better way to get your child interested in physical science.

Week 8 - Little Engineers
8/3 - 8/7
What is an Engineer? At its most basic, an engineer is a problem solver. And your child will become a little problem solver too with Little Engineers. Students will be introduced to basic concepts of engineering such as the laws of motion, storing energy, robotics and more through hands on engineering projects designed to get their minds solving problems. From creating skyscrapers and bridges to assembling robots, this camp is an excellent introduction to key STEM concepts and a ton of fun.

Week 9 - Young Inventors

The world owes so much to the brilliant people who, through clever thinking and creativity, have brought us inventions that make modern life possible. From Ancient Greece to the present day, inventors have strove to find new solutions to life's problems. Student's will learn about Archimedes, Bi Sheng, and Marie Curie among others that have brought world changing discovories. In Young Inventors, students will be introduced to some of these impressive figures, inspiring their own creativity and giving them STEM lessons that will create a solid foundation for their future STEM endevors.

The Afternoon Research Camp teaches research skills that will prove invaluable through highschool and beyond. Each week, students will learn how to find credible sources, discriminate between quality and innacurate information, organize their findings, and write well organized and reasoned papers on important relevant topics.
Students will also be encouraged to discuss, debate, and present their work to improve their engagment and develop their speaking skills. This camp will provide an introduction to some of the most important topics of the twenty first century while also helping them build their writing, research, and communication fundimentals.

Week 2 - Decoding AI
6/15 - 6/19
AI has never been so ubiquitous. The technology is incredibly important for understanding the world today. However, most people do not understand how it works and how it is best used. During Decoding AI week, students will choose a topic related to how AI functions, how it is being used, and its potential benifits and drawbacks. They will use their findings to write and present a reserach report on their chosen topic. From corperate strategies, to millitary intelligence, AI is transforming our world and impacting millions of people every day. Decoding AI will leave your child much better equiped to use and understand this emerging tech.

Week 3 - Tech Investigation
6/22 - 6/26
Technology is at the center of our daily lives. An understanding of how AI, microchips, telecommunications, and computers are built and work will give students who take Tech Investigations a huge advantage in school and beyond. They will choose from topics such as, mineral access, Open AI, Telsa vs BYD, Grok vs Gemini, and others and do an investigation. They will take the results of their investigations and write a persuasive esay that they will present and defend in front of the class. Students will learn how to write engaging and persuasive material based on quality reserch on some of the hottest topics in tech.

Week 4 - Green Century

As the world works towards carbon neutrality, some amazing work has been done all over the world to change how we aquire and consume energy. In this race against time, countries and private companies have developed strategies to create a clean energy grid. This has led to innovations in auto manufacturing, solar, hydroelectric and more! In Green Century, students will look at an energy project and do their own research regarding its effecacy that they will use to create a report. They will develop a new understanding regarding how we get power for our daily lives and the skills that come with research and presentation.

Week 5 - Capital Research Lab
7/13 - 7/17
At the core of the modern world is trade and the exchange of natural resources. The first corporations were concerned with investing in international trade. Access to key resources such as oil, cobalt, and rare metals is more important than ever. Students will choose a research topic related to the international flow of captial, goods, and infrastructure. Examples include, cobalt mining in Africa, the Belt and Road Initiative, and the US attempt to aquire Greenland. Through their research report, students will develop and understanding of how capital works and improve their economic literacy while learning about a topic that is of importance to them.

Week 6 - Cosmic Discovery
7/20 - 7/24
The twenty first centruy has seen some amazing developments in the human understanding of space. But how do powerful telescopes, martian probes, and new revelations about the universe impact our lives every day? Students will get to evaluate the many benifits of space exploration and learn how space exploration pushes progress and technology here on earth. Is the world seeing a new space race? Should space be a peaceful place, or should countries be allowed to defend their satellites? Cosmic discovery will improve your child's communication and research skills while learning about one of the most exciting fields of study.

Week 7 - Rocket Frontiers

Space has become incredibly important to our daily lives. Cell service, GPS, and weather prediction are already essential aspects of the contemporary world. Now with new fronteirs in space mining, millitary applications, tourism, and even the elusive dream of a colony on mars, investment in space technology has become larger than ever. Students will get to choose and research a topic related to the twenty frist century space race. From Rocket Lab to SpaceX, students will develop their own opinions on the future of investment in rockets and other technology related to putting human objects in outer space.

Week 8 - Corporate Strategies
8/3 - 8/7
The last two hundred years have been dominated by the rise of multinational corporations. The competition and development of these companies shapes the buisness landscape for everyone today. Students will get to learn how some of the most recognised brands, from Microsoft to McDonalds developed sucessful strategies. They will research a chosen industry, company, or buisness practice of their choosing and develop an understanding of historical and contemporary business through their research and presentation.

Week 9 - Marketing: Building Brands
(8/4-8/8)
Apple, Tesla, Coca-Cola: The power of these brands lies in decades of strategy and marketing. What makes a luxury brand desireable, or push crazes such as Labubu and Chat GPT? In building brands, students will research one or more companies and discover what strategies they used in order to gain the prestige and value they now posses. Alternatively, some students may choose to look a a company that did not have branding success and analyize what went wrong. Building Brands will give students to look a communcation through the lense of marketing and practice their own communication skills.

Summer Speech & Debate Program helps students build essential communication, critical thinking, and argumentation skills while exploring real-world issues. Each week features a timely debate topic, allowing students to engage in structured discussions, research, and practice persuasive speaking—all guided by experienced coaches.
This program is ideal for students preparing for academic debate competitions, public speaking opportunities, or simply looking to strengthen their confidence and analytical abilities. Held at our Irvine campus, the camp provides a rigorous yet supportive environment to help students grow intellectually and personally.

Comics Writing Summer Camp in Irvine

Explore storytelling through words and pictures in this 3-week Comics Writing Camp. Students will learn story structure, character development, and the language of comics while creating their own original illustrated stories. A perfect blend of writing and visual creativity to strengthen both language and narrative skills. By the end of the camp, each student will complete a fully developed, original comic project to showcase their creative growth.
