Academic Writing 4–5B is one of our writing classes for kids designed for 5th–6th grade students, helping them master persuasive, research, and narrative writing through advanced instruction, collaborative projects, and structured feedback that prepares them for middle school academic demands.

Academic Writing 4-5B Narrative, Persuasive, Research: Program Details
This advanced course provides focused essay writing help for kids who are ready for higher academic expectations. Through personalized instruction, peer collaboration, and in-depth projects, students develop strong skills in persuasive writing, research based writing, and narrative storytelling.
The curriculum builds confidence, critical thinking, and creativity while preparing students for the expectations of middle school writing classes.
Instruction includes persuasive communication, research writing, and narrative writing, with techniques such as rhetorical appeals, structured report writing, MLA style introductions, descriptive language, and blending facts with fiction. Students complete weekly writing assignments and receive personalized feedback through conferences and revision sessions. Assessment focuses on content, structure, language use, and creativity.
